The Geisinger Residents and Fellows Auxiliary purpose is to support our residents, fellows, spouses, significant others and families throughout residency.  Our group is designed to help in the relocation process, provide socialization to residents and give back to the community.

We are primarily a group of residents and/or spouses that offer free assistance in your relocation effort to Danville, fellowship during your stay and friendship if you may leave.  We have compiled resources to help your transition be as smooth as possible.  Most importantly, our website is full of auxiliary and community information that will help you: make a better informed decision about living in our area, research our community, find moving resources, hook up utilities and discover things to see and do. 

As a group some of our key activities include:

Meals for Moms – you parent, we cook
Playgroups for our children & parents
Tours for interviewees and spouses
Adult trip to Knoebles Amusement Park
All resident picnic at Montour Preserve
Trips to the Farmers Market in Lewisburg
Social parties for Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick’s Day
Farewell Dinner for parting residents
Easter egg hunt for Ronald McDonald house
Angel Tree donations
Donations to Children’s Miracle Network, Public Library, and Women’s Center
Brunch with Santa

Lastly, we invite you to be part of the Geisinger Residents and Fellows Auxiliary.  We meet once a month, schedule social nights out, hold occasional fundraisers and donate to worthy causes in our area.  In short, we consider ourselves a social club with a big heart and look forward to helping you in any capacity possible.
